This project consists of five scenes that capture whimsical childhood moments I shared with my sister. I aimed to convey the mood and nostalgia of each experience through vibrant colors, playful textures, and expressive facial features.

This project consists of four pieces, each depicting a different animal species interacting with one another and their environment. My goal was to vary the perspective and color schemes for each piece while maintaining a consistent rendering technique for the animals. I aimed to create an energetic mood that would resonate with a younger audience.

This body of work features black and white drawings of quaint spaces or environments in my camera roll. Each piece is rendered with various hatching techniques to generate high contrast shadows, texture-rich midtones, and paper white highlights.

For this project, I created a 16-page children’s book, complete with a front and back cover and a colophon. The story explores the experience of falling behind in school—something many children face. To capture the nostalgic charm of classic children’s literature, I used traditional illustration techniques, incorporating hatching to add texture and depth to each page.
